Lately we have been really busy with a variety of shoots. Some of them you read in our blog about and others you have seen on FaceBook. Thanks to all our fans out there for commenting on our posts and for all your encouragement. It is so nice to hear that our work is liked and appreciated!

This time I want to tell you about a location shoot we did for Ashley of her son. Wyatt just turned one and we wanted to incorporate some of the birthday theme in addition to few others. For the location we chose the City Beach area, here in Oak Harbor. It’s the first time I’ve shot there, but liked the versatility of the location a lot. There is a small, well kept park, a baseball field, an old barn, and a playground to name a few. Everything is really close together and was very easy to move from one spot to the next and keeping the little one entertained.

Wyatt was a great little model! Through most of the shoot he stayed happy and smiling… but I did get a chance to get my crying picture!

The family is relocating at the end of the month, so… when no one was looking he got a chance to kiss (and lick) Oak Harbor ground good bye!

 

 

Here are some of the few of my favorite shots though so many of them came out great it was a real chore trying to pick out which ones to post!

Sending off Bri
I believe we met Bri when she came in to do a calendar shoot for her then boyfriend, she was one of the first people who had purchased a calendar package and it came out beautifully. Here are a couple of shots of that first shoot with Bri:

We also all hit it off as friends and she began helping us out with training and experimental shoots and hanging out. She helped us a lot by letting us practice on her, and many of the things we have learned we have in incorporated into our everyday shooting style, here is a sampling of some of our favorite shots with her over the last two or three years:

We even ended up shooting Bri’s wedding, which we were honored to do, the mosquitoes were a tad thick but it was great fun!

Bri and her husband are off to Colorado now, we’d love to wish them good luck and good fortune and thanks for the memories!
